Benjamin Benefiel, originally of the Chicago area, is a resident of Peoria and a 2004 honors graduate of Mesa Community College program of Mortuary Science. He is both a licensed embalmer and funeral director. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Ball State University in Religious Studies and attended Arizona State University for graduate studies in that field.
